11.21.05 The longest running cyclocross race in the country, and what an awesome race it is. Warm New England fall racing, you know? Last year I somersaulted the hole shot in the b race (scroll to the b race), this year I got 44th and one lap down. So my record here is pretty lousy, but it's always good times in Look Park. 11.15.05 The second day at Gloucester. How 'bout that weather we're having? The long sleeve skin suit was almost too much clothes on Sunday. No surprises really, just another day of hard ass racing on the right coast. feat. Zappa
11.2.05 The beloved second day on what was an epic weekend of racing. I was bummed that we couldn't race in the same park that this event was held in last year. But the new venue was pretty bad ass. Everyone thought it was going to be a fast grass crit. I don't know about any of you, but I couldn't ride that course fast. I crashed for the first time (during 'cross) and, even after three or four practice laps I was seeing question marks all over the place. I really love those courses where you can see every part from one standing spot. On this day that spot seemed to be the beer tent, 'cause when I got there both kegs were dry.
